Partner & Chief Investment Officer and Head of Co-investments in Private Equity for Global Private Markets Solutions
Based in Edinburgh, Colin is the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Co-investments in the Private Equity team within Patria Global Private Markets Solutions (“Patria GPMS”). Colin chair’s the Patria GPMS Investment Committee and is a member of Patria GPMS Operating Committee. With AuM of over $10bn and a team of over 70, including 25 investment professionals, Patria GPMS constructs tailored private equity portfolios principally through European and North American primary commitments, secondary fund investments and co-investments. Patria GPMS represents a broad range of private equity investors via pooled funds and separately managed accounts, including the Patria Private Equity Trust plc.
Prior to joining the business in 2006, Colin worked as a private equity investor for Bridgepoint and Lloyds Bank. He began his career advising on mid-market buyouts with Andersen Corporate Finance.
Colin holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Strathclyde and a Securities Institute Diploma.
